SHOPPING: Tory Burch – one of my favourite designers – has expanded her empire with the opening of another glamorous new store, this time in the heart of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills…
This 3-level shop by architect and interior designer Daniel Romualdez, in conjunction with the designer herself, is one of over 100 stores she’s opened since creating the business with her then husband, Chris Burch (now of rival C.Wonder fame) in 2004, the first one being a small boutique in New York City’s Nolita area.
For decor, think the poolside resort style of Palm Springs, the Hamptons, French Riviera and Marrakech, mixed with Upper East Side and Palm Beach elegance.
Clearly, things are going rather well considering that Forbes added her to their “billionaire’s club” list recently.
The new store is located at 366 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, near the corner of Brighton Way.
Surrounding stores include Chanel, Gucci, Tod’s, Ferragamo, Fendi, David Yurman, Tom Ford, Saint Laurent Paris, and Cartier. Sounds like heaven to me!
Items for sale include clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories, perfume and homewares. The Hollywood Reporter has more details.
My thanks to Karine from LA Experience who alerted me to the new store! Check out our coverage of LA Experience here:
