Our previous posts about where to buy clothes for larger sizes have been incredibly popular, so here are some more ideas for plus-size shopping online for women who are tall, curvy or larger-than-the-catwalk sizes usually on offer…
Check out the following posts which contain heaps of links, including those designers (sadly few-and-far-between) who create clothes for larger sizes, such as Michael Kors, Tadashi Shoji, Donna Karan, Tahari and Calvin Klein.
Note1: Whilst I use the phrase “plus size” on Luscious, it’s highly contentious as many people refer to it as “fat and ugly” which I find very offensive. Unfortunately, “plus size” is the only phrase I can use with any confidence that women searching on Google can use to track down these larger sizes. So until many more designers start creating clothes across the sizing spectrum, I’m afraid “plus size” will have to do.
Note2: Whilst every care has been to track down items which should come in a larger size, there will still be some sizing variations, depending on the brand. Sorry about that – I know it’s annoying when you find something you like and it doesn’t come in your size.
